Becoming a Supplier
To register your interest in becoming a supplier please contact procurement@admin.cam.ac.uk
Please ensure prior to registering your interest that you have read the University’s Supplier Code of Conduct and understand the mandatory compliance that applies when working with the University.
When you register, we'll ask for your company details, what goods or services you offer, and further details about your organisation. If you meet the selection criteria for a tender opportunity, we will send you more information on how to bid using the UNIT4 Source to Contract platform. We reserve the right to advertise opportunities through several different channels.
As a supplier to us, we expect you to adhere to ethical, environmental and social accountability standards. The Supplier Code of Conduct states the principles and minimum expectations of you as a supplier to the University. Your commitment to these measures reinforces a culture of transparency, accountability, and equality within our business relationship.
The University of Cambridge processes your personal data to register you as our supplier. Please read our Privacy Notice to understand how we process your personal data and what rights you have under applicable data protection legislation.
Please kindly be informed, that your application does not guarantee a contract or agreement with the University of Cambridge. It will be reviewed by our team and if we are interested in your product or service, you may be contacted directly or by an invitation to register in UNIT4, our Source to Contract platform.
Existing suppliers
For questions regarding an RFP event, contract, or invoices queries please contact Procurement Services procurement@admin.cam.ac.uk
Supplying the University of Cambridge under a Consortia Framework Agreement
The university is a member of the Southern Universities Purchasing Consortium (SUPC). Where appropriate, the University will make use of frameworks from the SUPC and other purchasing consortia, as well as issuing Requests for Proposals (RFPs) directly to fulfil the needs of our internal customers. For any enquiries, please contact procurement@admin.cam.ac.uk
Opportunities for small, medium size businesses (SMEs) or local businesses
Given the devolved nature of the university, we suggest local suppliers continue exploring opportunities with institutions directly, keeping in mind that while not all may be selected, there are chances for future collaborations as our needs evolve. By staying engaged, you may find new opportunities to contribute to our mission and be part of the University’s success.
